CLC is organizing following event(s), please click on the event below to register and for further details about event :
14th International Freight Forwarders & Logistics Cooperation Forum (Chongqing 2012)Event Date: Monday, 26th March 2012 - Wednesday, 28th March 2012 The reason to have a conference in Chongqing is because it has become a major manufacturing hub, an automotive and motorcycle hub, a new Gateway to Europe with a new train service from Chongqing to Europe with an expected transit time of only 12 days. Chongqing is also China's largest city with some 32 million people and therefore also a consumer hub as well. Some of the companies with operation in Chongqing is: Microsoft, Coca Cola, Mazda, Ford, BP, Lafarge, Honeywell, Fiat, Volvo, Ericsson, Honda, Continental, Denso, Wal Mart, Johnson Control, Visteon, Apple, Pepsi, BASF, Danone, NTT Group to mention a few. Chongqing has huge export to South America and Africa of motor cycle engines and spare parts; therefore we hope that a good number of South American and Africa members will attend. As the world's major automotive hub, we would also expect freight forwarders handing automotive clients would be interested in attending. Only now many members have indicated they are interested in coming to Chongqing.

CLC Chongqing Event 2012This should be a must attend event for all the CLC members, specially for New CLC members, because such great is the participation response we received from all the quarters that we have to change the venue of CLC Chongqing Event 2012 from Sofitel Hotel Chongqing to Le Meridien Hotel Chongqing, citing the need for bigger ballroom. Conference will have one2one meetings powered by one2onescheduler.com, which will open on 25th Feb 2012. To know more details about the conference, please visit: http://www.chongqing2012.com/ and to register please fill up the form at: http://www.chinalogisticsclub.com/node/add/conference-registration?product_nid=3631&qty=1
Due to the number of people expected, we are forced to change the hotel to get a bigger ballroom that can accommodate up to 350 people in one to one meetings. The Le Meridien Chongqing Hotel has the biggest ballroom in Chongqing and we are therefore moving CLC Chongqing conference to there. This change of hotel has also forced us to change the conference dates from the 28th - 30th March 2012 to the 26th - 28th March 2012.
A new freight rail has started operating across Eurasia, linking the southwest Chinese economic hub of Chongqing with the Port of Antwerp in Belgium and cutting the travel time for goods traded between China and Europe in half from about 36 days by container ship to just 13 days by freight train. Freight rail is also safer and less expensive than sea transport, which has been the dominating method for processing trade between China and European countries. The rail supplements the 10,800-kilometer-long Eurasian Land Bridge to the north and will be mainly used to link south China's Pearl Delta manufacturing hub and the country's southwest industrial belt with Europe. For more detail please visit at: http://news.xinhuanet.com/english2010/china/2011-07/02/c_13961415.htm
